Description
Anubis is the Egyptian god of the dead and the Underworld. As an embalmer, he is also associated with mummification and viewed as a protector of graves. He also guides souls into the afterlife.
Tomb paintings from the Roman era (starting around 30 BC) show Anubis taking the dead by the hand and guiding them to Osiris.Anubis was very popular across Ancient Egypt & even Greece, with a number of cities, temples and shrines dedicated to him. Here I have only depicted his head & a traditional pharaohs crown & hieroglyphics.
297mm x 210mm, printed on 300 gsm paper in full colour.
